P.A.L.E. A.L.E.S. (Princeton And Local Environs Ale and Lager Enjoyment Society) is a non-profit club which provides opportunities for people with a common interest in homebrewed beer, mead, and cider making to share ideas, brews and friendship. We meet monthly on 2nd Mondays. Join our Google Group by sending an email to paleales+subscribe@googlegroups.com for the latest news and join us on Facebook
Our meeting locations vary largely on the topic. We might be at the Firkin Tavern in Ewing one month to listen to a brewer discuss their craft or out in Ocean, NJ the next to tour a brewery. Any pub, brewery or home with an appreciation for craft brew within an hour of Princeton is fair game!
Dues to join PALE ALES are just $30 per person per year. Dues renew January of each year. We also have a $45 “family” rate. In addition to having the pride of being an being one of the oldest homebrew clubs in Jersey, your membership entitles you to a 5% discount at Princeton Homebrew in Trenton, NJ. The discount is good on just about everything in the store except for Blichmann equipment. Visit the Join page to become a member.

One reply on “About”
“Mike’s Irish Red” won a silver medal in the Irish/Scottish ales category of the Malt Madness VIII competition last month (September) in Philadelphia. A fine beer indeed! Here is a link to the competition results: http://lvhb.org/mm_2014/BCOEM/
